Pros: works better than anything I have found for getting a good picture at night over long distance of about 100 yds. I use a dual camera day night (1 color & 1black and white cam with auto change at dark to blk &wht cam at 600 tv lines and 25 mm lense. I can see extreemly well after dark this is great iluminater and at very good price. very easy installation.

Other Thoughts: have been using day night cams for 3 years to keep watch on wild game from remote cams powered by deep cycle batteries and transmitters to send pictures to our ranch house and this IR illuminater is best I have found at reasonable price

Pros: I used this to assist a camera that needed better night vision because of distance. Worked great, highly recommend.

Cons: It can only be mounted on a wall. Perhaps, a ceiling mounted model would be a great option for those situations.

Pros: Great price point / value. Very long beam projection. Appears to be solid constructions

Cons: Beam pattern a little too tight for my liking. Mounting base needs a relief for the cable exit in case you are not mounting to a hollow surface.

Other Thoughts: I purchased it to help out a buddy and the illumination is awesome. Just make sure that you buy the correct type of camera in order for it to work together, otherwise buy the IR camera as one.
