Nice Camera Overall Tech Level: Average - Time Owned: About a week

Pros: Very stable camera when sitting on a level surface. Has a good picture quality as long as there is enough light in the room.
Has a very wide viewing area when rotating the camera around. You can monitor a large room with this camera.

Cons: Camera is makes a lot of noise when it is rotating.
Setup was a little difficult because I did not know my ISP doesn't allow you to use Port 80 for http. If you have problems with the camera...switch the http off of Port 80.

Other Thoughts: Good camera although I have not been able to get the wireless function to work yet. Still have to work on that. I would recommend this camera for someone looking for a reasonable PTZ camera.

PT 7137 Tech Level: High - Time Owned: About a month

Pros: This is the fifth Vivotek IP camera purchased for my home security system. Like the other four, installation was simple and quick. It has good performance for the price.

Cons: This model does not have optical zoom. Activation of digital zoom requires additional steps. It also does not have POE capability.

Other Thoughts: If you want optical zoom and POE, you need to purchase Vivotek's more expensive PTZ cameras.
