How to Configure GeoVision’s Control Center V2 to Connect to IP Cameras Good afternoon and welcome to ApexCCTV’s tutorial on how to configure an IP Camera to connect to a GeoVision Center V2 System. I’ll load the Center V2 System and it starts off looking like this. On the top left there’s a button called host list if you hover over it. Click that and it will show a list of all our host devices. I’m adding an IP camera so I’ll be adding it to the IP Camera list. I’ll click the add host icon and click on add ip camera. We’ll click this and then select a camera type. This is a list of compatible IP cameras GeoVision works with. I’m going to go to GeoVision Cameras since that’s what I’m working with. It’ll set up the default ports 10000 for command and 80 for web. We’re going to give it a name, something human friendly it doesn’t have to be correct just something for you to reference it by. The address is just a DNS resolvable name or an IP address. Next add your id and password to login. There is only one camera available since it is an IP Camera. I’m not going to do anything with inputs and outputs so just click ok. The GeoVision IP Camera is now in our host list and now I can go and right click and go to live view. Thank you for watching ApexCCTV’s video tutorial.
