Viewing Your Security Camera on Your Android Smartphone with GV-AView

Good afternoon and welcome to ApexCCTV’s tutorial on the GV-AView for your Android. We are going to start by going to the marketplace to download the app. Start by typing in GV-AView and then click search. Choose the GV-AView app and install it by clicking on the free button. When the app finishes installing, go to your apps and open it up.

You’ll be brought to the settings and connections screen. Name your profile whatever you’d like, place your IP address, the default port is 8866. Enter your username and password. Click on the plus icon so it saves your connection. Then you should be brought to your saved connections page and then click on your new entry it’ll bring you back to the previous screen, at which point you want to click the link/connect button.

Once it loads you can scroll through all your feeds by clicking on next or previous. If you click the menu button, you can go to configure. From here you can change the quality of the image, we also have the option to start recording on these different channels, record the current channel, stop current channel or stop all channels. If we had IO set up we could trip it from right here. Rotating the screen rotates the options as well, rotating it back restores it to the previous view.

If we go back, we want to disconnect, we can add IP cameras the same way. This allows you to view GV system as well as GV IP Cameras.

It’s as simple as that, thank you for watching ApexCCTV’s video tutorial.
