The LPR recognition process is activated by the license plate capture system in two ways. One is via the GV-LPR software’s video motion detection function, which recognizes vehicles passing through the camera’s illuminator zone. The system can also be activated through standard input/output (I/O) activation. The LPR software provides easy monitoring with two viewing options, including a camera overview and a picture-in-picture mode.
