How to use GeoVision’s Remote Desktop Feature in Control Center V2 Good afternoon and welcome to ApexCCTV’s tutorial on Remote desktop and the GeoVision Center V2 System. I’ll load the Center V2 System and I’ve already got several DVRs, cameras and video servers set up. In this case I’m going to just right click on one of my DVRs and select Remote Desktop. This is going to connect to the DVR and give me desktop level access. This gives me not only access to the GeoVision software interface, but the entire operating system. We are using GeoVision’s desktop not Windows desktop, but if I was only signed into the control center I wouldn’t have access to the taskbar and start menu at the bottom. I also recommend keeping your system on lock down for security reasons. Here are all my different software and I can click this here and look at my basic GeoVision settings. I can set up a custom menu, add administrative tools etc. This will lock the system and this will power the system down. If I didn’t have the GeoVision system running I could get into the regular Windows files and run this as a normal desktop. Thank you for watching and choosing ApexCCTV
