Viewing Your Security Camera on Your iPhone with MPRMS

Good afternoon and welcome to ApexCCTV’s tutorial on the MPRMS app for your iPhone. We’re going to download the app from the app store and then we’ll be able to view the cameras on your DVR from your phone. Let’s start by going to the app store and going to search and typing in MPRMS, it should pop up go ahead and select it. It should bring up the info click on install. It’ll begin downloading.

Once it finished click the MPRMS icon to open it. I already have one demo set up, but to add a new one click on New at the top, and then you’ll add regular name, which is whatever you want to call it. Choose DVR for model, enter your ID and password you’ll be using to login. Add your DVR’s IP and then the default port is 2000. You have a few other options down at the bottom if you need to use DDNS. Click save when you’ve got all of the information entered.

To view the video click on the DVR you just set up. It’ll ask if you want to connect, click connect and it’ll pull up your cameras. From here you have several options, we can click on different cameras, you can also control IO devices if you have it set up on your DVR. You also have PTZ controls if you have that option with your camera. IF you select iFrame only, it’ll increase video quality but slow down considerably. You can disconnect, you can search for a time frame that video recorded, and the last icon is just info on the software. To exit just click on the middle button like you would to exit any other app.

It’s as simple as that, thank you for watching ApexCCTV’s video tutorial.
