Viewing Your Security Camera on Your iPhone with Meye App

We are going to take a look at how easy it is to access your DVR from your iPhone. WE are going to go to the app Store and searching for Meye. Click on the first one, from there select free and install it. Once the app has fully installed go ahead and click the Meye icon. When you first open it you’ll need to add some information so it knows what server to connect to. Give it whatever name you want. For the address if you are in your home this is going to be your local IP address, if you want to view it from outside your house use the external IP address. The port is usually 34599, and then enter the username and password to connect your DVR.

When you finish click back which brings you back to the original menu, from there click play where you’ll be able to connect. Sometimes it can take a while to connect depending on the number of cameras you are pulling down and connection speed. Clicking the different numbers lets you cycle through the cameras. You can take a snapshot by clicking the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. If you change the orientation of the phone you can get a full screen view, and then return to standard view by rotating the phone the other way.

If you have a PTZ you can click on the PTZ controls. The arrow will cycle through all the numbers of cameras. Finally hitting pause will stop streaming the cameras.

That concludes our video tutorial, thank you for visiting ApexCCTV.
