GeoVision GV-BX3400 Overview

GeoVision GV-BX3400-8F 3MP 2.8mm WDR Pro Box Camera, D/N, DC 12V/PoE

PoE Ready IP Camera

All IP cameras transmit video over Cat5e Ethernet cable and PoE technology sends power to the camera over the same cable run. This lets you power the cameras remotely rather than having to find another solution. Using PoE cameras also gives you more flexibility in camera positioning and placement since powering them is no longer an issue.

Wide Dynamic Range Monitoring

The image below compares what a video feed looks like with (right) and without (left) WDR on. Cameras without WDR have trouble monitoring spaces near exterior doors & windows because the harsh background lighting washes out details in the foreground. WDR corrects that.

IR Camera Surveillance

This camera can monitor at any time of day or night by using infrared (IR) LEDs to replace visible light. As you can see in the image, the left is an enclosed office space with zero lights on. When the IRs are on (like in the right side), you can clearly see the desks chairs and other details that were hidden by darkness before.
