Fisheye Cameras

Fisheye cameras use a fish eye lens that is capable of 180 degree monitoring in true HD. In most applications, a single fisheye security camera can cover large areas up to 4,000 square feet and can replace multiple standard cameras without any loss in coverage. Our wide selection of fisheye IP cameras feature indoor and outdoor rated camera models, video resolutions up to 5 Megapixels, and free 32 channel NVR software that enables advanced monitoring features like electronic pan, tilt, and zooming, object tracking, and much more.

Advantages of using Fisheye IP cameras

360° Coverage Area

Fisheye cameras have special lenses with short focal lengths that allow them to monitor a full 360° around the camera. This lets them be placed in the center of a room on the ceiling or up high on a wall to maximize coverage of a specific space. That makes fisheye cameras especially useful in large office spaces, gas stations, grocery stores, and warehouses.

Lower total system cost

There's no getting around it, fisheye IP cameras are expensive. A good fisheye camera will run you about $300 even though the technology has been around for the better part of a decade. However, in many cases, it's still cheaper to install fisheye cameras and that's because a single fisheye security camera can take the place of multiple regular cameras. On top of that, you only have to run one cable to the fisheye camera as opposed to multiple cable runs to however many other cameras you'd otherwise need.

Advanced Monitoring Features

All fisheye cameras are IP cameras which comes with specialized VMS software to enable advanced monitoring features on your NVR. Some of these features include object tracking, motion detection, privacy masking, and alert notification as well as 180° & 360° de-warping so the fisheye video can be viewed in smaller segments.
